ArcGIS Monitor Specialist - ArcGIS Enterprise | AWS / Azure | Contract

We are seeking an experienced ArcGIS Monitor Specialist to join a high-impact enterprise GIS programme. This is a hands-on contract role focused on ArcGIS Enterprise 11.x, infrastructure monitoring and cloud-based GIS environments.

You will lead the installation, configuration and optimisation of ArcGIS Monitor, ensuring full integration with ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Data Store. The role requires strong experience in performance monitoring, alerting, dashboards and infrastructure visibility across enterprise GIS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

* Install and configure ArcGIS Monitor

* Integrate with ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, Server, Data Store)

* Monitor cloud-based GIS environments (AWS / Azure)

* Configure performance dashboards and automated alerts

* Analyse system health, uptime and resource utilisation

* Provide technical guidance and best practice recommendations

Essential Skills

* Strong experience with ArcGIS Enterprise 11.x

* Hands-on ArcGIS Monitor installation and configuration

* ArcGIS Server administration

* Cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS or Azure)

* Infrastructure monitoring and performance optimisation

* Experience with PowerShell or Python scripting

* Ability to work independently in a delivery-focused environment

Desirable

* DevOps tools exposure

* Networking and IT infrastructure understanding

* Experience supporting enterprise or public sector GIS platforms

This role is ideal for a senior GIS Infrastructure Engineer, ArcGIS Administrator or Enterprise GIS Specialist with proven experience deploying and monitoring ArcGIS environments in the cloud.
