Equifind have partnered with a UK-based fintech business to recruit a Finance Manager for their London operation.

This is a fiercely ambitious, high-growth company, expanding globally through diversification, organic growth, and acquisitions. With revenues in the billions and 20% YOY growth, they are one of the market’s real success stories.

This newly created role is ideal for someone eager to make a tangible impact by driving change, implementing new processes, and improving existing policies within an international finance team. You’ll also take on responsibility for managing a qualified accountant, offering the opportunity to develop and sharpen leadership skills.

Key Duties Include:

• Training and development of a Financial Accountant
• Oversight of monthly financial close, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
• Prepare monthly management accounts and statutory year-end reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across key business units
• Partner with non-finance stakeholders, providing insight and challenge
• Drive process improvements and strengthen reporting controls
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects including systems upgrades, M&A, and integration work
• Present financial information in a clear, concise way to senior leadership

Experience & Qualifications:

• Qualified accountant (preferably ACA/CA)
• A minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience, within a financial reporting or controls-focused role
• Solid understanding of IFRS reporting standards
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate finance for non-finance stakeholders
• Advanced Excel and modelling skills
• Commercially astute, with proven business awareness

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary: £70–80,000
• London subsidy of £5,000
