HGV Class 1 Driver - 9hr Shifts (1hr Unpaid Break)
My client is a leading logistics organisation on a global scale seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team.
Experience & Skills of a HGV Class 1 Driver:

Hold a shared responsibility for own development and willingness to attend training courses when required
*
Carry out airport-to-airport runs (Heathrow to Stansted/Luton) safely and efficiently
*
Maintain a high level of attention to detail at all times
*
Work closely with your transport team to deliver expected results
*
Ensure correct completion of customer data, security and transport documentation
*
Safely load, secure and check vehicle before departure in line with company and airport standards
*
Accurately record working and driving hours in line with road transport regulations
*
Adhere to airport cargo procedures and compliance standards at all times
*
Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Salary and Benefits:

Standard Rate: £19.00 per hour
*
Premium Rate (19:00 - 08:00): £21.71 per hour
*
Overtime Rate: £28.50 per hour
*
Vehicle and fuel card provided
*
PAYE - Paid direct (no payroll company deductions)

Shift Patterns:
Multiple Roles Available
Start Times:
Role 1 - can start between 0:01 - 03:00 (Tue - Fri)
Role 2 - can start between 18:00 - 22:00 (Mon - Fri)
Role 3 - can start between 03:00 - 06:00 (Mon - Fri)
9 hour shifts with 1 hour unpaid break
Safety & Security:

Adhere to all road transport, airport, and company safety standards

Comply with cargo security procedures at all times
*
Ensure any potential breaches or concerns are reported to management without delay
Must Have:
*
Right to work in the UK
*
National Insurance number
*
Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence with CPC & Digi Card
*
Previous Class 1 driving experience (airport runs desirable)
*
Valid security certifications - Cargo Operative / Transport (or willingness to obtain)
*
Proof of address
*
Clean DBS / CRB check
