We are looking for an experienced Theatre Practitioner with expertise in Scrub to join a Private Hospital based in Guildford.

This rewarding role offers a salary of up to £44,000 per year. As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you'll be expected to:

  • Deliver safe, high-quality care for patients during their peri-operative phase
  • Support, coordinate, and passionately assist in the management and organisation of care within the operating department
  • Provide clinical and managerial direction, ensuring all team members deliver quality patient care
  • Lead in the delivery of patient care during a list or specified period of time
  • Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of others and yourself
  • Promote best evidence-based practice within your scope of practice
  • Apply legislation, policies, and procedures correctly

The ideal Senior Theatre Practitioner candidate should have:

  • NMC or HCPC registration
  • Post-registration qualification relevant to functional specialty i.e. Advanced Scrub Practitioner or Surgical First Assistant qualification
  • ENB 998 and/or mentorship course
  • Approved / recognised anaesthetic course
  • ILS and Orthopaedic skills
  • Mentorship qualification and ILM3
  • Previous experience working within an acute healthcare environment
  • Experience managing and guiding a clinical team
