Day-to-day of the role:
- Prepare and cook meals according to the restaurant’s menu and recipes.
- Ensure that food preparation and presentation meet high-quality standards.
- Manage kitchen staff and delegate tasks related to meal prep, cooking, and delivering food in a timely fashion.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
- Coordinate with the management team to plan menus, including future food trends and culinary advancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Culinary degree or equivalent experience.

Day-to-day of the role:
- Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- Collect and wash up pots and pans from the kitchen.
- Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.
- Unload food and equipment deliveries.
- Keep the storeroom organised.
- Keep work surfaces, walls, and floors clean and sanitised.
- Assist the kitchen team with various tasks as needed, helping to prepare some basic food items.
