Thrive Group Oldham are seeking an Attendant to work for the local authority in Oldham. Must be a driver

Immediate start.

Shift pattern: (minimum 21 hrs work over 6 days) - must be flexible to work busy periods when required. Working ad-hoc hours, split day shifts - mornings and afternoons. Shifts time can be between 5am/6am - 9am and 16.30 - 19.30.
Rate of pay: £13.18
Contract type: Temp
Area: Working between Oldham and Royton

This would suit someone looking for the odd days work, students, semi-retired (please note there is a lot of heavy lifting involved, so all staff must be physically fit)

Main purpose of the job.

You will be looking after markets cleaning and refuse collection, all staff must be physically fit as a lot of heavy lifting.

Duties to include but are not limited to:

• Moving gazebos around in the van.
• To erect and dismantle stalls/gazebos on the outside open markets - heavy lifting involved.
• To sweep/clean the outdoor markets, including litter picking and operation of mechanical sweeping machinery.
• To ensure the collection and disposal of refuse at outdoor markets.

Requirements:

• Heavy lifting is involved therefore candidates must be physically fit.
• Must be flexible, reliable, punctual.
• Able to use own initiative, organise own workload and be a team player.
• Have an excellent work ethic, reliability, and able to learn new skills.
• Adhere to the rules of wearing the correct PPE at all times.
• Working outside in all types of weather.

Plus any other duties required by your supervisor.

Part-time hours: Minimum 21 hrs per week over 6 days

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Salary: £13.18
