Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum

A leading international wealth management and financial planning firm is seeking to recruit an experienced Financial Planner to join its established Private Client Advice team based in London.

The firm provides regulated financial advice to a large portfolio of high-net-worth private clients across the UK and forms part of a global asset management group with significant scale, resources and long-term career opportunities.

The Role

  • Provide ongoing, holistic financial planning advice to HNW private clients
  • Advise across pensions and retirement planning, including contributions, carry forward, lifetime allowance planning and drawdown
  • Deliver inheritance tax and estate planning advice
  • Provide tax-efficient cashflow planning using cashflow modelling
  • Optimise investment structures through review of investment wrappers
  • Deliver advice primarily over the phone and in writing, with face-to-face meetings as the role develops
  • Prepare written recommendations and suitability documentation
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality client outcomes

Candidate Requirements

  • Level 4 qualified (Diploma in Financial Planning / Regulated Financial Planning)
  • Level 6 or Chartered status desirable but not essential
  • 4+ years’ experience as a Financial Planner
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions and inheritance tax planning
  • Genuine commitment to delivering high-quality advice and client service
  • Confident communicator by phone and email
  • Able to manage complex cases and work effectively under time pressure

Salary & Package

  • Base salary up to £70,000+ depending on experience
