This Is What You'll Do: Works with the Plant Staff and Program Management Organization in developing the Plant Business Plan. Leads the Plant Change Control Board Coordinates the Master Planning Process and ensures that the Plant Master Plan is coherent and tied together Maintains the Plant Planning Center: visually displaying up-to-date KPI information, the Plant Master Plan, and countermeasures Leads the Plant Planning Team and coordinates New Model Planning Resolves inter-departmental planning issues Acts as a “window” into the Plant for product planning information and a liaison with the (PMO) organization Plant representative at CCB and other cross functional meetings Coordinates all new model planning Coordinates and communicates Plant Operating Plan and Schedule Coordinates special builds and schedule changes with Supply chain, Logistics and Engineering Provides input to the establishment of the Plant Budget Coordinates Make/Buy and other business case studies required by the Plant or other requesting parties Focuses the entire organization on maximizing value added, and waste reduction Coordinates key inter-departmental communication and mass communication Communicates best practices, problem resolution, and performance data with others (internal and external to organization) Visit customer locations & plants during major milestone events to support the teams when required. This Is What You'll Need: Experience with Materials Requirement Planning “MRP” Software such as SAP Preferred. 3 to 5 years of previous supervisory experience strongly preferred. Working knowledge in Excel, Word, Power point, and Outlook programs. Strong leadership skills, and proven project management. Continuous Improvement such as Lean Six Sigma or other disciplines. Ability to set tasks and responsibilities Creative problem-solving skills. Ability to meet deadlines and stay within budget. Strong team orientation and cross functional attitude. College degree preferred 3 to 5 years previous planning experience preferred This Is Where You'll Work: Department: Production Control Location: Normal, IL
