Are you a caring, patient, and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Folkestone, seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.

This is a long-term, full-time role supporting a specific child (or children) with additional learning needs, helping them to thrive both academically and emotionally within the classroom setting. You will work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to provide tailored assistance, ensuring the child you support can access the curriculum and feel confident in their learning journey.

About You:

We're looking for someone who is:

Experienced in working with children in a school setting
Calm, empathetic, and resilient
Able to build strong, trusting relationships with children and staff
Flexible and proactive in adapting to the child's evolving needs
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

✅ Requirements:

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
Right to work in the UK
Relevant references covering the last 2 years
