Support Worker FEMALE – Home-Based Support

Shifts Available: Full-time, Part-time & Flexible
Pay: Real Living Wage (weekly pay)
Precedo Healthcare is recruiting a compassionate and skilled FEMALE Support Worker to provide dedicated support to a young woman living at home with her family. She may display behaviours that challenge and has a history of self-harm, so this role requires patience, understanding, and a calm approach.
You will support her in and out of the home, help maintain a safe and positive environment, and encourage engagement with activities and the local community. This role focuses on emotional support, guidance, and fostering independence in a safe, structured way.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emotional support and guidance in the home and community
- Promote a safe, structured, and positive environment
- Respond calmly to behaviours that may challenge
- Encourage social engagement, hobbies, and community access
- Maintain accurate records and follow support plans
- Work closely with the family and any professionals involved
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months’ UK Support Worker experience (within last 3 years)
- Experience supporting individuals with self-harm risk or challenging behaviour
- Calm, patient, and empathetic approach
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with families/professionals
