One of Morgan Law's Healthcare clients requires a senior procurement professional to manage a team of category managers responsible for the procurement of clinical goods and services across a complex corporate landscape.

Duties include:

You will be responsible for the development of the Category Strategy, working closely with the senior management team to ensure it delivers on the corporate objectives
Develop and maintain Category plans and oversee spend levels for key clinical spend areas such as cardiovascular
Establish strong relationships with potential suppliers and create collaboration opportunities.
Oversee the development of robust KPIs to be used across all category procurement activities
Analyse data and develop a multi-year category strategy which helps prioritise the annual pipeline of procurement activity
Lead the performance, development and day-to-day management of a team of category managers

Experience Required:

Extensive experience leading and developing procurement teams at a strategic level, within a complex working environment.
A proven track record in a category management with detailed knowledge of developing and implementing category strategies.
Previous working knowledge of managing procurement activity within a healthcare environment.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with clinical and non-clinical staff at all levels
