We have a unique opportunity available for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager, with experience of working within Children's Residential Care.
We're proud to be working with a well-established Residential Care Service in the Northeast of England, supporting autistic and neurodivergent children. They are seeking an enthusiastic, people-centred leader, to oversee their staff team in both in residential homes and within the wider community in Sunderland.
The successful candidate will be an individual who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of children, and can build trusting relationships with the children and their families.
Key Requirements for the role:
- Experience in Children's residential care (2 years of recent experience minimum)
- Experience within a Supervisory / Leadership Position
- Experience of working with neurodivergent individuals, or those with disabilities
- Confident in use of IT.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification)
The role requires excellent communication skills, and understanding of different methods of communication (including with non-verbal individuals).
