We are looking for a detail-driven Cost Analyst to support one of Scotland’s most high-profile fuel operations. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, analyse fixed and variable costs, and provide reliable data to support decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and review monthly fixed and variable cost analysis, ensuring accuracy of the financial ledger.
• Lead month-end activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and maintaining the ACC Sheet.
• Coordinate the annual operating plan with cost centre managers.
• Support finance projects including RDEC, National Statistics returns, and other ad hoc tasks.
• Assist with statutory accounts and year-end audits.
• Provide cover for the Finance Manager, Process Control and payroll when required.

What You’ll Bring

• SAP Experience - ESSENTIAL
• Understanding of the purchase-to-pay process and its impact on cost reporting.
• Confidence working with operational leaders and supporting budget management.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
