Are you an extremely motivated, dedicated, design focused and articulate SENIOR SALES PROFESSIONAL with strong experience and track record in promoting highly sustainable Furniture and Workplace including storage and biophilia services primarily to Key Architects & Interior Designers also have sound working knowledge and a track record in dealing with specifying End User Clients (Corporate, Major Occupying and SME's) within the Commercial Office Sector?

Do you have a background working within the Furniture / Interiors sector and are familiar with working closely with key decision-making and highly influential Architects and Interior Designers in some of the most prestigious and well-recognised practices in Central London?

Can you also demonstrate a proven track record successfully dealing with D&B, Fit-Out Companies and End User Clients? Are you confident in project tracking with a view to insulating the sale of your products and services from inception through to completion? Candidate Specific:

As well as nurturing historic customer relations and developing new opportunities, to succeed in this role you will need to exhibit strong business development skills, strong planning, project management and communication skills accompanied by a strong business development acumen whilst having the drive, resilience and focus to deliver results in line with our clients accelerated growth plan and within a “team-based” culture

Ideally, you should be able to demonstrate stealthy progress from your academic and professional background to date, with an affinity for interior/workspace/furniture design and at least 5 years of relevant client-facing experience as a minimum requirement.

You will report directly to the Managing Director

General Purpose of the Role:

To effectively promote the brand and value proposition to prime commercial stakeholders including Architects, Interiors Designers, Specifiers (75%+), D&B, Fit-Out and new Commercial Office End User clients within a project-based context to deliver sustainable and profitable relations and revenues.

You will be working in a SENIOR level autonomous role and as part of a team to develop sales in the Commercial Office sector but not discounting suitable projects across H&L, BTR, Student Accommodation and Education.

Key Accountabilities:

* To manage and build a healthy pipeline of project opportunities within a lengthy sales cycle process mindful of short-, medium- and long-term conversion timelines.

* To maintain an accurate CRM “live list” of projects and to work with external and internal stakeholders to ensure on time in full quality outcomes to project delivery and aftermarket service.

* To actively promote the brand and service proposition through targeted and timely outbound marketing, advisory/educational support, and use of market intelligence resources, as well as industry and in-house events to develop and convert qualified leads/enquiries.

* To maintain and report on a monthly call plan including a relevant summary of key objectives and outcomes, ensuring support colleagues have suitable planning time for deliverables. e.g. Sample materials, loan products, product technical/sustainability data, a turnaround of RFQ, s.

* To maintain and develop a proficient level of industry, company and product knowledge to support the delivery of expert consultative service to their target audience.

* To prepare for and attend internal planning and progress reviews from time to time and be able to constructively support continuous improvement initiatives.

* To report against sales key performance indicators accurately and on time. To include, sales calls/lead conversion, project pipeline quantity/value changes, new and focus product initiatives, competitor activity, customer feedback and price management.

* To support brand standards and showroom utilisation befitting a prestigious brand and client base. Contributing to a healthy, safe and inspiring work/hosting destination.

* To deliver sales results in line with or exceeding the branch's annual plan.

Professional Skills & Experience:

* Proven experience in hunting, managing and securing Furniture and Commercial Interior Fit-Out projects where the emphasis has been heavily biased towards Sustainable Furniture / FF&E and Biophic Design

* Understanding of the commercial parameters.

* Comprehensive understanding of FF&E, cable management, Ergonomics/Ergonometric (as known as Human Factors) and display a passionate persona towards sustainability and its importance in the workplace.

* Ability to make commercial decisions independently.

* Minimum 5-year Furniture / Workplace OR very closely aligned interior furnishings sales experience. - i.e. Floor Coverings, Fabrics & Textiles, Upholstery, Wallpaper, Wallcoverings etc

* Ability to manage clients at all levels.

* Established and proven client base and professional contacts with Key London A&D practices are ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL any further relationships with D&B, Fit-Out Companies & end users would be highly ADVANTAGEOUS - PLEASE NOTE: YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO DISCUSS THE ABOVE AREAS IN GREATER DETAIL

Please Note: Candidate Must Be Based Within A Reasonable Commute to Central London (45 Min - 1 Hour Max).
