Senior Planner - Overseeing Two Landmark Projects (£50M+ & £130M+)

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planner to manage two high-profile construction projects-a £50M+ residential development in East London and a £130M+ leisure project in South East London. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in NEC Contract planning, ensuring programme accuracy, risk mitigation, and efficient workflow management throughout pre-construction and delivery phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee fully logic-linked construction programmes for both projects.
• Ensure compliance with NEC Contract frameworks, managing programme controls effectively.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Support project managers with on-site planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making.
• Deliver robust logistics plans, method statements, and temporary works scheduling.
• Maintain risk management protocols, safeguarding cost and schedule integrity.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience in multi-project planning, ideally within large-scale Residential and Leisure construction (£50M-£130M+).
• Proven NEC Contract planning expertise, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Strong technical knowledge in programme controls, scheduling, and risk analysis.
• Proficiency in Asta Power Projects and other planning tools.
• Background in major refurbishment and new-build developments.
• Ability to work across multiple sites while maintaining strategic oversight.
• Holds an HNC (or equivalent) in Building Studies or a related subject.
