We're looking for a Facilities Assistant to join a friendly school based in Hackney. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic school facilities or site maintenance experience who's looking to secure a long-term role with potential for permanency.

• Assist with the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of school buildings and grounds

• Carry out basic repairs, cleaning, and general site duties

• Support with setting up rooms and equipment for school activities

• Ensure the premises are safe, secure, and well-presented at all times

• Help monitor contractors and deliveries when required

• Previous experience in a school facilities, caretaking, or maintenance role

• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Reliability and attention to detail

• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
