Location: Peterborough (Hybrid: 3 days home, 2 days office after onboarding)Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

The Role

As an Accounts Semi Senior, you’ll support the preparation of high-quality financial statements and develop strong client relationships. This role suits someone experienced in practice who is confident managing their workload and keen to grow their technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements under UK GAAP.
• Produce supporting accounting schedules.
• Work on a mix of accounts: FRS102, FRS102 1A, partnerships, consolidations.
• Manage jobs to budget and deadlines.
• Build strong client relationships and handle queries.
• Provide practical recommendations on accounting processes and systems.

About You

• AAT qualified or studying ACCA/ACA.
• 2–3 years’ experience in an accountancy practice.
• Strong double-entry and accounts prep knowledge.
• Experience with cloud software (Xero/QuickBooks helpful).
• Confident communicator with good attention to detail.
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
