Interaction Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a Customer Service Administrator to support the Commercial Team of the UK leader in anaerobic digestion and food waste recycling.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and customer service skills to join a fast-paced, environmentally focused business making a real impact on the UK's transition to a low‑carbon future.

The Role

As a Customer Service Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting their Commercial Team, providing essential administrative and customer service support. Your day-to-day duties will include:

Administrative & Customer Support

Preparing and updating the daily scheduling for all incoming and outgoing waste.
Answering incoming calls and handling first-line customer enquiries.
Logging and passing key information to the appropriate member of the commercial team.

Reporting & Documentation

Distributing weekly and monthly tonnage reports to nominated customers.
Assisting in the preparation of customer terms and conditions alongside the Commercial Sales Team.
Preparing, monitoring, and maintaining all customer documentation.

Compliance & Data Management

Updating and maintaining the compliance database, including:

Food waste agreements
Waste carrier licences
ABP registrations
Duty of care documentation
Approved supplier records

Maintaining the ACTIV integrated management system and supporting external audits.

What We're Looking For

We would love to hear from you if you have:

Previous experience in customer service or administration.
Strong communication skills and confidence handling enquiries.
Good attention to detail with the ability to spot new feedstock opportunities when speaking with customers.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
A proactive and organised approach to your work.
