We are working with a welcoming secondary school in Brent seeking a committed DT Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching and learning in a department that values creativity, practical skills, and student progress.

The role:

• Full teaching responsibilities within Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4
• Delivering a broad DT curriculum including product design, resistant materials, graphics, and CAD
• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners
• Creating a safe, purposeful, and well-managed workshop environment
• Assessing, recording, and reporting on pupil progress in line with school expectations
• Contributing to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching DT across KS3 and KS4
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management and classroom practice
• Be organised, reliable, and committed to a long-term role
• Have a clear understanding of the UK curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Be committed to raising attainment and supporting all learners to achieve their potential
