Job Description The primary objective of this role is to provide effective leadership and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service and high-quality products that meet or exceed our clients' stringent standards. We are seeking a full-time Team Leader for our News Cafe` at BaxterStorey, who will be accountable for the following critical responsibilities:
● Implementing and rigorously enforcing BaxterStorey's strategic vision encompassing People, Product, Customers, Environment, and Profitability
● Ensuring the consistent delivery of superior customer service through a professional, efficient, and meticulous approach
● Providing authoritative and decisive leadership to the team, including task allocation, performance management, and continuous evaluation
● Supporting the Manager in critical daily operational activities and assuming full managerial responsibilities in their absence
● Coordinating effectively with Front of House (FOH) team to guarantee product excellence, optimal inventory management, and stringent stock control
● Rigorously maintaining and enforcing the highest standards of food safety, occupational health and safety, and professional presentation
● Overseeing mission-critical communications and ensuring strict adherence to BaxterStorey policies and procedures
Qualifications Skills & Requirements
Experience and passion in hospitality, retail, or food service
Amazing teamwork skills and an ability to drive excellent communication
Flexibility to work Monday to Sunday between 6:00 and 22:00 – rota-based schedule
Strong customer service focus with a positive attitude and professional presentation
Experience in Front-of-house (FOH) operations, including food service and stock control
A positive can-do attitude and a desire to improve and win every day
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, especially during peak times
Ability to work collaboratively with both front and back-of-house teams
