Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services)

Location: East London
Salary: Up to £60,000 (Depending on experience)

Prime Appointments is working with a fast-growing Building Services Design Consultancy in East London, looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join their expanding team.

This consultancy delivers a diverse range of projects, including commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments, offering broad sector exposure. Key Responsibilities

Design, manage, and oversee complex mechanical building services projects, ensuring seamless integration with other engineering disciplines

Prepare detailed mechanical specifications, reports, single-line diagrams, schematics, load calculations, and budget estimates, ensuring compliance with project timelines and regulations

Collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants to build strong relationships and ensure successful project delivery

Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring completion to the highest standards

Skills & Experience Required

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other mechanical design tools

Strong understanding of mechanical building services systems and their integration with other disciplines

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members
