Manager / Registration Manager

Job Description

The Registration Manager is responsible for all aspects of the registration process including registering members and nonmembers for programs, providing registration reports and providing exceptional member service, and on-site registration. This position is also responsible for facility rental sales and coordination.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the registration process prior to all programs and onsite.

  • Process registrations and payments in database, paying attention to accuracy and timeliness.

  • Manage facility rental and sales. Handle set-up and clean-up of all rental functions.

  • Send confirmation notices and payment receipts.

  • Track billing and ensure timely payment.

  • Respond to calls and emails regarding registration and facility rental in a prompt and friendly manner.

  • Provide accurate and timely registration reports.

  • Manage volunteer or ad-hoc support staff when needed.

  • Create name badges and registration lists for all programs.

  • Maintain database records, in conjunction with membership department.

  • Provide back-up support for billing, accounting and member services.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    facility rental programs.



  • Bachelor’s degree or five years related work experience.

  • Proficient in Word and Excel, and have the ability to do mail merges

  • Ability to lift 30 lbs. required.

  • Must have reliable transportation.

  • Must be able to work weekends and evenings as-needed for facility rental or program needs.

  • Occasional overnight travel required.

  • Must be able to travel independently throughout the Detroit metro area for daytime or nighttime events.

  • Familiarity with NetForum database a plus.

  • Prior program registration experience a plus.

  • Association experience a plus.
