English Teacher

• Hourly Rate: £35 - £40
• Location: South West London
• Job Type: Part-time, Temporary

We are seeking an English Teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons to two groups: one GCSE and one Functional Skills Level 2. This temporary position requires a commitment. The role involves teaching, marking, and facilitating the completion of an NCFE workbook.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Teach Functional Skills English Level 2 
• Teach GCSE English 
• Allocate one additional hour on Thursday to complete an NCFE workbook with the same learners.
• Dedicate two additional hours per week for planning and marking (one hour per cohort).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in English.
• Experience teaching GCSE and Functional Skills Level 2 English.
• Ability to plan, deliver, and mark lessons effectively.
• Experience with NCFE coursework is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
