Estimator with Experience in Groundworks - Full-Time
Location: Dunstable

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Estimator with proven experience in Groundworks to join our team on a full-time basis in Dunstable.

About the Role:
As an Estimator, you will play a vital role in the pre-construction process, preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of groundworks projects. You'll work closely with the operations team to ensure tenders are completed on time and to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

Preparing accurate cost estimates for groundworks and associated civil engineering projects

*

Analysing drawings, specifications, and other documentation

*

Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain up-to-date pricing

*

Preparing and submitting tender documents

*

Attending site visits and pre-tender meetings when required

*

Working collaboratively with project managers and directors

Requirements:

*

Previous experience as an estimator within the groundworks or civil engineering sector

*

Strong understanding of construction drawings and technical specifications

*

Excellent numerical and analytical skills

*

Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office

*

Strong communication and negotiation abilities

*

Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines
