Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Location: Newmarket, Suffolk

Hours: 07:00-17:00 Monday-Friday

Hourly Rate / Salary: £12.87 per hour + Holiday Pay

Duration: Temporary-Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our client based on the outskirts of Newmarket. This is working within a Cold store and you will be in and out of Freezers, but PPE will be provided. You must have a good understanding of English and numbers due to the tasks involved.

Job Duties:

* Operate counterbalance to load, unload, and move products around the warehouse.

* Stacking and unstacking pallets

* Ensure safe handling and accurate storage of inventory.

* Assist with the organization and management of stock using management systems

* Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

* Perform regular maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues.

What we are looking for:

* Counterbalance License essential

* Experience working within a distribution company an advantage

* Confidence working within a team

* Adaptable to working in other departments when required

* Happy working within cold temperatures
