Our client, a leading name in the automotive industry, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team on a contract basis in Gaydon, Warwickshire. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact engineering projects, working at the forefront of innovation and technology.

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of engineering-based projects, from design and planning through to implementation and commissioning. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement operational plans for engineering projects.
Prepare detailed designs, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
Oversee production, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of infrastructure and equipment.
Monitor project progress and performance, resolving issues to minimize delays.
Identify and secure necessary resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
Prepare engineering standards and work specifications.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure successful project delivery.About You:

You are a Specialist Professional (P4 level) with deep expertise in project engineering.
You have a proven track record of managing large-scale or complex engineering projects with minimal supervision.
You are confident in coaching and delegating tasks to junior professionals.
You thrive in solving complex problems and navigating technical challenges.
You bring strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Requirements:

Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
Significant experience in project engineering, ideally within the automotive or manufacturing sectors.
Strong understanding of engineering standards, project controls, and resource planning.
