This is an ideal role for someone looking to grow within a professional finance team while supporting day-to-day financial operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and on time.

* Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar systems.

* Prepare and issue invoices, process expense claims, and handle a variety of financial documentation.

* Assist in bank reconciliations and investigate any financial discrepancies.

* Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary reports and documentation.

* Liaise with internal departments to collect financial data and support decision-making.

* Provide administrative support to the finance team including document filing and data entry.

* Ensure all financial activities align with internal controls, policies, and compliance requirements.

What We're Looking For:

* Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Workday, or PeopleSoft.

* Previous experience in an accounts or finance-related role is advantageous.

* Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.

* High level of confidentiality and professional integrity when handling sensitive financial data.

* Sound numerical ability and a basic understanding of accounting principles.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Prior experience with data entry tasks is desirable.
