Role Summary:

The Office Administrator will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of the business. This position is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a proactive approach, particularly with experience in logistics or freight forwarding environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the operations and logistics teams
  • Prepare and manage shipping and customs documentation, including bills of lading and invoices
  • Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and carriers via phone and email
  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems, both digital and physical
  • Monitor and replenish office supplies and equipment as needed
  • Assist with data entry and updates to internal systems and databases
  • Support the coordination and tracking of shipments and deliveries
  • Handle incoming calls and general office correspondence
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and industry regulations

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role (experience in freight forwarding or logistics is advantageous)
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Familiarity with freight documentation and customs procedures is desirable
