Residential Care Support Workers **

We are working in partnership with a Local Authority in the Sutton area who are looking for a Residential Care Support Workers to join one of their Childrens Homes.

Overview:
Residential Care Support Workers deliver 1:1 support to young people at Willow Rise, ensuring daily routines, activities, and care plans are followed to promote their emotional, physical, and educational development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver individual support and activity timetables.
• Promote well-being, positive relationships, and inclusion.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing home environment.
• Work under the guidance of the Shift Lead and Management.

Contract:

• Contract Length: 3-6 months with a view to extend to an ongoing contract.
• Pay Rate: £18 - £23 per hour (negotiable depending on your experience).
• Location: Sutton, SM5 1NF.
• Working Hours: 24 Hours per week. (Shifts include day, waking night, sleep-in and weekend working)

Qualifications / Experience:

• Experience supporting colleagues and working with children, families, schools, and professionals.
• Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (Children's Residential) or equivalent.
• Skilled in engaging and assessing young people with complex needs or at risk of offending.
• Experience working with parents/carers and professionals in multi-agency settings.
