A fantastic Technical Manager job opportunity to join a growing, family-owned food manufacturing business in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Client Details

A growing, family-owned food FMCG manufacturing business based in Leeds that have recently undergone exciting expansion plans.

Description

The Technical Manager will report to the Head to Technical and be responsible for leading the Quality Assurance teams as well as hosting external audits.

Other responsibilities include:

*Providing the necessary support and training to the QA team so they can excel in their roles

*Work cross-functionally with Production and Engineering teams to ensure the business is working collaboratively to achieve great audits and exceed customer requirements

*Working with the Senior Leadership Team to help create a great place for employees to work

*Build and maintain key relationships with retailers

*Identify continuous improvement opportunities within the quality and technical team across systems, processes and ways of working

Profile

The successful Technical Manager will have a range of the following:

*Experience working in a Quality or Technical Supervisor/Team Leader/Manager role within a BRC Food FMCG manufacturing environment

*Passionate about food safety, quality and food manufacturing

*Keen to make a difference, drive the team and create a great working environment

*Experience hosting or exposure to hosting external audits including BRC and customer audits

*Able to successfully lead a team and work cross-functionally with the Production and Engineering department to excel in audits
