My client are a well established Retail business, currently turning over circa £200 million. With over 200 stores and a 3rd of their revenue driven by online sales, they are a highly profitable and cash rich business looking to further expand internationally.

Description

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Responsible for the production of monthly management accounts

• Ensure all month end cost journals are calculated and processed accurately and on a timely basis

• Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed on a monthly basis

• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts

• Develop strong working relationships with all areas of the business

• Assist in year-end audit

• Assist with departmental and wider business projects

Profile

• The ideal candidate will be qualified (CIMA, ACA OR ACCA) and have experience working as a Management Accountant or in a similar technical accounting role
• Ideally, my client are looking for someone from a retail background or a sector such as FMCG/ Manufacturing. That being said, applications will be considered from other transferable sectors
• Experience of Microsoft Navision or Business Central preferable
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all outputs
• Excellent excel skills
• Strong commercial acumen
• Exceptional communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
• Proactive and resilient self-starter, a team player, passionate and motivated with the ability to inspire others around them.
