As the Head of Service Delivery, Direct to Patient Services you will ensure the safe, efficient delivery of healthcare products nationwide.
As a senior business leader, you will own financial performance, contractual delivery, and client relationships, while driving innovation, service growth, and continuous improvement.
This is a fixed-term contract based at our Haydock site site. You will be working Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) and will be paid up to £65,000.0 per annum.

Purpose of the role
To lead and develop our business activities for the safe distribution and delivery of healthcare products direct to patients as business lead for the Direct to Patient service, this is a key role within Movianto reporting into the Operations Director.
How you'll make an impact as a Head of Service Delivery, Direct to Patient Services at Movianto:
- Lead end-to-end operational performance across a 260 FTE workforce, managing warehousing, transport, customer service, and a national fleet to ensure safe, efficient delivery.
- Hold accountability for multiple sites and a national distribution network, delivering consistent service through a hub-and-spoke model.
- Drive transport efficiency, planning leadership and continuous improvement.
- Own client account performance, ensuring contractual delivery, financial accountability, and profitability
What it will take to thrive as a Head of Service Delivery, Direct to Patient Services at Movianto:
- Be subject matter expert on the service requirements in the logistics sector, keep up to date with industry trends and keep Movianto ahead of the curve on procurement trends, and opportunities.
- Collaborate across all business functions within MUK including Commercial, Customer Service, Commercial, Quality and Finance to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of goals.
- Support and lead commercial discussions new business opportunities and contract renewals and support organic growth of new and existing business through exploration of the 'shared user network' model.
- Support the MUK senior leadership team to meet with the wider UK and Group objectives.
Experience & Skills Required
- Experience at Senior management level within a general logistics environment with responsibility for key client accounts and final mile experience. Direct experience of the healthcare logistics industry either through a 3PL or in house environment would be advantageous.
- Experience of closed book and open book commercial models is essential.
- O licence and/or CPC holder would be advantageous but not essential.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience of managing multiple teams in multiple locations and working cross functionally with other senior internal business partners.
- Demonstratable strategic and commercial acumen with strong influencing and negotiating skills.
