SEN Teaching Assistant needed on a full time basis to start from September with a primary school in Tamworth.

The school is a very popular primary school in Tamworth and has a great reputation in the area. The school provides a nurturing environment and exceptional education for their students.

The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time role starting in September. The role will go permanent for the right candidate at the school. The role is supporting a KS2 child who has SEN needs for a 1:1 support. The child academically is at KS1 level. As a valued member of support staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning across the school.

What You'll Do as a SEN Teaching Assistant:

* Provide one to one support with the KS2 child

* Build rapport with the child and help shape their future

* Work with individual students or small groups to provide targeted academic and pastoral support.

* Help prepare classroom materials and resources.

* Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to support the overall well-being of our school community.

Requirements

To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position you will need:

* Experience working with primary age children

* Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team

* Hold the Right to Work in the UK

* Have a DBS Certificate on the Update Service / Willing to obtain one

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working in a primary school setting
