I am recruiting a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead and manager a team of Team Leaders and multi-skilled engineers in a 24/7 food manufacturing facility in Wakefield.

Description

The Maintenance Manager will report into the Site Engineering Manager and will drive capacity developments across a complex manufacturing operation working closely with Production and Quality teams. You will lead a talented team of engineers will be responsible for succession planning and development.

Other day to day responsibilities include:

Effective management of the production maintenance through a team of Team Leaders and multi-skilled engineers
Develop and implement proactive maintenance schedules
Implement continuous improvement strategies to increase efficiencies using TPM methodologies
Work closely with production management to minimize downtime
Provide technical support and training to the engineering team
Develop and mentor engineering apprenticesProfile

The successful Maintenance Manager will possess a range of the following:

Experience in a team leader or maintenance management role within the FMCG sector
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Excellent leadership and team management skills
The ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in using maintenance management software
Minimum HNC qualification
Electrical bias with 18th edition qualificationJob Offer
