RG Consultancy are working with a very well-established small business based in the Stockport area. We are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to support the accounts manager with the day-to-day management of the transactional duties.

Role Responsibilities

• Processing sales and purchase invoices
• All around purchase ledger and sales ledger support
• Processing transactions and card payments
• Dealing with customer queries via email and phone calls
• Managing and maintaining customer information and accounts
• General accounts and office admin support

Person Specification

• Strong IT skills including MS office, MS Excel
• Experience working in a purchase ledger, sales ledger or all-around accounts role
• Experience working within an office administration role with some accounts experience
• Experience with SAGE 50 is an advantage
• Good communication and customer service skills, verbal and written
