Salary: £85 - £100 per day (dependent on experience)

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a school located in South Liverpool. This is a full-time position, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' educational experiences.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting learners with additional needs, working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Autism
Implement individual learning and behaviour plans in collaboration with teaching staff
Use structured communication strategies and visual aids (e.g., PECS, visual schedules)
Help maintain a calm and inclusive classroom environment
Contribute to monitoring progress and adapting support as neededEssential Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people with Autism
Understanding of ASD-specific strategies and tools
Strong communication, patience, and resilience
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
