Location: Bury St Edmunds – Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)

Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 (depending on experience)

We’re working with a respected wealth management firm based in Bury St Edmunds that’s looking for a Financial Planner Support professional to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your technical skills and progress your career, with a clear pathway through to Paraplanning and beyond – supported by fully funded CII qualifications up to Chartered level.

As Financial Planner Support, you’ll provide essential administrative and technical assistance to Financial Planners and Directors, ensuring clients receive a high-quality service.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and checking client review packs and reports
• Liaising with product providers and third parties
• Maintaining accurate and compliant client records
• Supporting Financial Planners in client meetings (2–3 times per year)
• Producing suitability letters and processing new business applications
• Assisting with research, due diligence and investment administration
• Supporting and developing junior team members where required

You’ll be organised, proactive, and eager to progress in your financial planning career.

You should have:

• Experience providing administrative support within financial services
• A good understanding of pensions, investments, and platforms
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and time management skills
• Progress towards (or interest in) the CII Diploma in Financial Planning

• Hybrid working – 3 days in the office (Bury St Edmunds), 2 from home
• Salary £25,000 – £30,000 depending on experience
