What you will be doing as an Air Conditioning Engineer?

* Install, commission, and maintain commercial and industrial air conditioning and HVAC systems.

* Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, including detailed inspections and cleaning procedures.

* Diagnose system faults accurately and carry out effective, timely repairs.

* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues involving compressors, condensers, evaporators, refrigeration cycles, and control systems.

* Deliver exceptional service standards across all aspects of work.

* Provide clear technical guidance and support to both clients and colleagues.

* Ensure all tasks are completed in strict compliance with safety regulations and company protocols.

* Keep comprehensive and precise records of all maintenance and repair activities.

What skills are needed to be an Air Conditioning Engineer?

* Solid background in servicing and maintaining commercial and industrial air conditioning systems.

* In-depth knowledge of refrigeration principles and HVAC operations, with a strong emphasis on air conditioning technology.

* FGAS certification required.

* Industry-recognised qualifications (e.g., NVQs or equivalent) in a relevant engineering or HVAC discipline.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.

* Demonstrates a genuine enthusiasm for engineering and a hands-on, proactive mindset.

* Capable of working independently and managing tasks with minimal supervision.

* Maintains a consistently professional attitude and appearance.

* Possession of a full, valid UK driving licence.
