Temp to Perm OR Permanent We are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to join a busy depot in Chawston, Bedfordshire for a well-established company within the modular buildings and site accommodation industry.This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with practical maintenance skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced yard environment.The RoleYou will be responsible for preparing, maintaining and repairing modular cabins and welfare units to ensure they are ready for hire and meet company standards.Key Duties

• Cleaning, painting and carrying out general maintenance on cabins and units
• Servicing mobile welfare units
• Assisting with minor repairs and occasional site work if required
• Checking returned furniture and equipment and storing correctly
• Supporting the safe loading and unloading of cabins and materials
• Keeping the yard and workshop clean and organised
• Following health and safety procedures at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in general maintenance, plumbing, joinery, electrical work or handyman work
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work in a busy environment
• Practical, hands-on approach to work
• Good teamwork and communication skills
