Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver - Recycling
Location: Bridgend, Wales

We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver - Recycling for a local authority recycling contract based in Bridgend, Wales. This is a full-time role offering excellent work-life balance and consistent hours within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector.

Salary: £32,493 per annum
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - approx. 3:30 PM
Overtime: Paid after 7.5 hours per day at £22.05 per hour (time and a half)

Role Responsibilities:

• Carry out driving and loading duties as part of a refuse and recycling crew

• Work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Perform manual handling and lifting tasks - good physical fitness is essential

• Adhere to safety procedures and local authority standards

• Participate in a full paid induction and driver assessment before starting

Requirements:

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence

• CPC certification and Digital Tachograph card

• Maximum of 6 penalty points (minor offences only)

• Willingness to perform loading duties as part of the team

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety
