Job Title: Internal Sales

Location: Cannock

Salary: £30k - £35k

Working hours: Days with an early finish on a Friday

We're working exclusively with a well‑established and growing business within the GRP and industrial gratings sector that is strengthening its commercial team with the addition of an experienced Internal Sales professional.

This is a stable, long‑term role offering job security within a specialist industry, suited to someone who already understands GRP or gratings products and can hit the ground running.

The Role

This is a hands‑on internal position combining estimating, sales support, and customer account management. You'll be responsible for managing existing relationships while helping to grow the business in a competitive market.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing and following up detailed quotations for GRP and grating products
Managing customer relationships and acting as a key point of contact
Processing sales orders accurately on the internal system
Interpreting drawings and specifications to support accurate pricing
Proactively following up quotes and converting them into orders
Upselling and cross‑selling products where appropriate
Handling inbound and outbound sales calls
Delivering high levels of customer service throughout the sales process
Supporting business growth in a competitive industrial environmentWhat We're Looking For

Minimum 2 years' experience in internal sales or estimating within the GRP or gratings industry (essential)
Strong product knowledge within industrial flooring, gratings, or GRP systems
Confident communicator with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple quotes and enquiries simultaneously
Commercially aware with a proactive, sales‑driven mindsetWhat's on Offer
