IT Project Engineer

Inspire Resourcing are recruiting for an IT Engineer to join our well-established client based in Sheffield.

Main duties:

* Supporting other teams to ensure project efficiency

* Updating on project status and resolving any issues

* Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components on site

* Identifying any issues

* Updating records, project plans, guides and procedures

* Training end users on new technology implementations

* Troubleshoot technical issues during project implementation and provide timely resolutions.

* Ensure all IT systems are up to the best practices and security standards

* Liaising with sales team to understand requirements and creating bill of materials

* Liaising with purchasing team to ensure all items are onsite or arrived by installation date.

* Customer involvement to identify additional points of interest or addition information required.

* Attending site to complete heat maps and surveying of buildings

* IT projects according to plan

* Collaborate with other teams

* Develop detailed implementation plans, including tasks, timelines and resource allocation

Requirements:

* Experience in a similar role or in and IT Projects engineer role

* Good knowledge of Hardware, software and networking

* Problem solving skills

* Driver's license

Salary up to £37,000 DOE
