About the Company

Join a market-leading organisation based in Glasgow’s East End, known for its strong reputation, supportive culture, and commitment to developing its people. Due to ongoing growth, they are looking to add a dedicated Purchase Ledger Assistant to their finance team on a temp-to-perm basis.

The Role

As a Purchase Ledger Administrator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the company’s accounts payable function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with ledger experience who wants a stable, long-term role with a well-established business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing high-volume purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Matching, batching, and coding invoices
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Managing queries from suppliers and internal teams
  • Assisting with weekly and month-end payment runs
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
  • Supporting the wider finance team as required

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger or similar finance role
  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy levels
  • Good IT skills, including confidence with Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
  • Ability to work well in a busy, office-based environment
