Join the innovative and successful Philosophy, Ethics, and Theology team who are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate teacher who is motivated to support students in achieving their full potential. This role is ideal for someone who wants to join a committed and enthusiastic team and contribute to a forward-thinking department.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Teach Philosophy, Ethics, and Theology across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5.
  • Lead in providing first-class teaching and learning, driving the knowledge agenda and pedagogy within the department.
  • Adapt teaching methods to your own expertise and the needs of your students, encouraging them to extend their knowledge through further reading and promoting independence.
  • Support the department in delivering extra-curricular opportunities and study-support sessions, guiding students with their ongoing learning at GCSE and A-Level.
  • Engage in a comprehensive program of professional development, contributing to the school's ethos of high-quality teaching and community values.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience of teaching RE across KS3 and KS4, with a strong desire or experience in teaching at KS5.
  • Ability to teach GCSE and A Level Sociology would be an advantage.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to enhance departmental and student outcomes.
  • Commitment to professional growth and development within an innovative educational environment.
