Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: £32000 - £35000/annum

* Early finish on Friday. (Monday-Thursday 09:00-15:00 and Friday 09:00-13:00)
* 6-8% pension match from employer.
* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (increases after service)
* 4 weeks paternity (full pay)

Theo James Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Quality Systems Technician on behalf of our esteemed automotive client in Newton Aycliffe. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance within the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of quality management systems. This role has been created due to internal growth, showcasing the business' intention for staff development. They also boast exciting new projects which this person will be deeply involved in.
Skills and Experience required:
Experience within ISO9001 Quality Management Systems - IATF16949 desirable
Experience in maintaining and developing Quality Business Systems in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of developing PFMEA, Control Plans and Standardised work documents.
Knowledge of customer specific requirements.
Understanding of internal audits and the important role this has in the business.
Key Responsibilities:
The maintenance and development of the companies quality management system documentation, including control and supervision of all amendments and revisions.
Control and the distribution of all the companies quality system related documentation.
To support the development and implementation of new business systems, incorporating training, awareness, support and assessment.
Coordinate internal audits in-line with the company internal audit schedule.
Support and participate in external audits (Re-certification, Customer, etc.)
Work with cross-functional teams to drive system & quality improvements through the business as required.
Support business initiatives to improve systems & quality awareness through all levels of the organisation.
Work effectively within various business units both in house and externally so as to improve the effectiveness of the developing processes
