Job Summary: This position reports directly to the Assistant General Manager and the General Manager. This person is in charge all things related to guest service in all departments. This person has authority to direct employees if the task or change affects guest service. The person must be able to handle all customer and employee complaints and situation with tact and professionalism. This position needs to lead by example and show great leadership qualities. This person will maintain excellent customer service. This person is responsible for the cleanliness of the entire building as that directly affects guest service and perception. This person also helps with the building condition as whole. This position must know and work all positions including: All positions on bowling side, Front End duties, snack bar, bar and kitchen if needed.
*Work directly with all departments on events and parties
* Know all sides of the bowling entertainment including arcade, bowling, laser tag ropes course, escape rooms, type of specials running, rates, discounts in all areas of business including restaurant, bowling, laser tag and arcade
*Be available to work extra shifts if needed
*Communicate with owners about issues and concerns
*Help League coordinator with leagues
*Cut labor when appropriate
*Assign work/tasks to staff members
*Manage schedule changes/ Switch sheets for front end and bowling- work with managers in those departments
*Supervising, Training, and Motivating - oversees schedules for bowling and front end, assigns duties and shifts to workers and observes performances to ensure adherence to ESL policies and established & operating procedures
*resolution of guest complaints and improve customer satisfaction along with employee resolutions.
*Answers inquiries pertaining to ESL policies, services, guest complaints, compliments and concerns
*Knows, adheres to and trains staff on POS, cash and credit card handling procedures, server training and bar training
*Greets all guests in a warm, friendly, helpful manner along with co workers effectively communicate with guests, department heads
*Multi task, remain associate and guest service friendly.
* Promote positive morale and aggressively friendly attitudes.
*Solve guest issues with professionalism maintaining hospitable attitude.
* Must be thoroughly familiar with the Company Handbook; implement all the rules, policies and procedures established by the company
* Utilize Communication Log book and other necessary communication logs from shift to shift in front end of restaurant
This job requires nights and weekends.
