This post is only open to those candidates who already have their NMC registration in place and have successfully completed the preceptorship programme. Please note: Newly qualified applicants or those due to qualify will be recruited via our recruitment fairs.

We are recruiting into 1 post into the Easington Psychosis Team in Merrick House.

You will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (or pending registration) and be able to demonstrate generic nursing skills and the confidence to meet the requirements of a Band 5 position in the community. Please refer to the accompanying job description and person specification for further details of the post.

You will join an established and supportive multi-disciplinary team that is committed to delivering high quality, patient centred care. Working closely with professionals in the team and external agencies, you will provide evidence based nursing interventions to patients ranging from initial assessment, treatment monitoring, and delivery of therapeutic interventions, crisis management and discharge.

A period of preceptorship / induction will be provided and you will have the ongoing opportunity to develop your skills within the post in relation to the care of patients experiencing a range of mental health problems, supported by the wider team, supervision and on going professional development opportunities.
