Financial Controller

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting a new role of Financial Controller for a growing manufacturer based in Bradford. This varied role will expose the successful candidate to a wide range of responsibilities.

The Role

Reporting into the Finance Director & Managing Director, duties and responsibilities of the Financial Controller will include:

• Complete a standardised, fully detailed profit and loss account and balance sheet for submission to group head office on monthly basis
• Review and analyse all aspects of the monthly results of business with full explanation of any variance to budget or prior year, presenting the results in the monthly review meetings with Exec
• Production of balance sheet control pack incorporating key financial, operational, and procedural controls
• Complete year-end statutory accounts models incorporating profit and loss, balance sheet and taxation analysis in a group standard reporting package
• Responsible for producing and submitting the quarterly VAT, and monthly tax returns

The Candidate

To be considered for the role we welcome applications from candidates with the following:

• Fully qualified; ACCA / CIMA / ACA
• Ability to construct accurate and timely management information
• Contribution to management discussions through clear communication skills
• Previous use of Sage would be advantageous

Salary & Benefits

In return, the successful Financial Controller will receive the following:

• £55,000 - £65,000 base salary
• Annual bonus from 15-30%
• Company Car / Car Allowance
• Free on-site parking
