1:1 EYFS Teaching Assistant - Stafford

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant in EYFS to join a 1.5 entry primary school located in the South of Staffordshire, a short drive from the centre of Stafford.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and knowledgeable Level 2 Teaching Assistant, to support a child with special educational needs within EYFS. You will be working within a school that is part of a reputable trust locally.

The role includes:

• Providing 1:1 Teaching Assistant support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs.
• Assisting class teacher in working with a child who may exhibit challenging and complex behaviours.
• The ability to successfully support, lead and inspire children.
• Work alongside teachers, SENCo, and external professionals.
• Having high expectations of all children and committed to raising standards of all children within the school.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working in EYFS (1:1 experience desirable)
• Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant certificate
• Experience of working as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant with children who have SEN.
• Enhanced DBS
• Available to start ASAP
• Can commute to Stafford
• Is able to follow guidance and adapt support to individual needs
• Fully registered to work for Academics

Pay: £90 - £100 a day (dependent upon experience). Holiday pay is included on day rate.
