Dalgety Bay Care Home is a purpose built care home located in the coastal town of Dalgety Bay in Fife. Providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for up to 68 residents, the home offers a warm, welcoming and supportive environment where team members can make a meaningful difference every day.
Registered Nurse RGN or RMN - Nightshift
- £22.36 per hour
- Nightshift contract
- Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
- Onsite parking
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
Role Overview
As a Registered Nurse on nightshift, this role plays a vital part in delivering safe, high quality care during quieter hours, ensuring residents remain comfortable, supported and closely monitored throughout the night. The role requires strong clinical judgement, attention to detail and a calm, confident approach.
Working independently and as part of the wider team, the role involves completing clinical assessments, monitoring residents' conditions and responding promptly to any changes in health or wellbeing. You will ensure care plans are followed and updated, and medications are administered safely in line with protocols.
The role includes leading the night team, maintaining clear communication through accurate documentation and structured handovers, and ensuring a safe, secure and reassuring environment. A key focus is on dignity, comfort and consistency, supporting residents to feel safe and settled overnight.
What We Are Looking For
- Registered Nurse RGN or RMN with an active NMC PIN
- A calm, compassionate and professional approach
- Strong clinical judgement and ability to work independently
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Experience in a care home setting is beneficial but not essential
